How to Order Silverado OEM Parts, Step by Step
Getting the right part the first time starts with accurate vehicle details.
1. Find your VIN
Your 17-character Vehicle Identification Number is on the driver's side of the dashboard (visible through the windshield), on the driver's door jamb, and on your registration and insurance card. Trim levels and options can change which part fits, and the VIN tells us exactly how your truck was built.
2. Describe the part
List what you need in the form's Parts Order field. A part number, photo reference, or description of where the part goes all help.
3. Submit your request
The Order Parts form asks for year, make, model, trim, VIN, your parts list, and your contact information.
4. Hear back from a specialist
A Miller Chevrolet parts specialist will contact you to confirm the part and arrange next steps. Parts is open Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
5. Pick up or schedule installation
Pick up at our Rogers dealership, or have our certified service center install it. Some GM parts warranties include labor only when a GM dealer installs the part.
OEM vs. Aftermarket: What's the Difference?
OEM means "original equipment manufacturer": parts made for your vehicle by or for the automaker.
GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco
Parts sold through GM dealers, built for GM vehicles, and eligible for GM's parts warranties when installed by a GM dealership.
Aftermarket Parts
Made by third parties to fit many vehicles. Quality and fit vary by brand, and they aren't covered by GM's parts warranties.
Ordering accessories as well? See our Chevrolet Accessories store for floor liners, tonneau covers, assist steps, and more.
GM Parts Warranty Coverage
GM offers three levels of parts warranty on qualifying parts installed at a GM dealership.
| Warranty | Example Parts Covered | Labor |
|---|---|---|
| 24-Month / Unlimited-Mile Limited Warranty | GM Original Equipment and Professional brakes, rotors, alternators, and starters | Included when installed by a GM dealership |
| Limited Lifetime Warranty | Select GM Genuine and ACDelco chassis parts, electronic fuel pumps, ignition wire sets, radiators, shocks and struts, and wheel and hub bearings | 24 months of labor; parts covered as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle |
| 12-Month / Unlimited-Mile Warranty | Select ACDelco Advantage wheel bearings, shocks and struts, brakes, and chassis parts | Included when installed by a GM dealership |
Exclusions apply, including fluids, improper installation, and incidental damages. Keep your original receipt or repair order. See full terms on our parts warranty page.
